There are other volunteer opportunities available at the church such as
Sunday Ushers, Hospitality, Office voluinteers, serving on committees, and kitchen help.

Our Story
In June of 2025 Pastor Christopher Liberati was appointed by Bishop Hee-Soo Jung as minister at Gay Street United Methodist Church and Green Valley Chapel United Methodist Church.
Gay Street UMC has been exploring the questions: “How is God calling us to serve our communities? How can we strengthen our sister United Methodist Churches and enhance our connection within the United Methodist Church?” Our partnership with Green Valley Chapel UMC is instrumental in addressing these questions. Both congregations are dedicated to ensuring the success of this collaboration and we are eager about the opportunities that lie before us.
This partnership is not only strengthing both churches but also enriching our worship experience together. We are enthusiastic to witness what God has planned for us — the potential opportunities and joint ventures that await us in the future. We look forward to engaging in ministry and missions together.
What can we accomplish as partner churches? We can join in prayer for guidance from God as we work to strengthen our churches collectively, embrace shared opportunities, and support Green Valley’s greatest hope of keeping their doors open.
